Bobcats In-House Softball

WELCOME TO BOBCATS SOFTBALL!

The mission of Bobcats Softball is to emphasize the recreational and instructional areas of the great game of softball. We strive to create a healthy approach and environment to learning and developing skills, emphasizing teamwork, respect, and fairness. We want the children to learn and practice fair play and teach good sportsmanship in winning and losing.

6U Pixie T (ages 4-6)
8U Barrettes (ages 7-8)
10U Ponytails (ages 9-10)
12U Powerderpuff (ages 11-12)
15U Diamond (ages 13-15)

Registration Information

Registration for the Spring Season opens on December 1st and runs through March 1st. Registration for the Fall Season begins on June 1st and runs through August 1st. More information regarding registration for the upcoming season can be found below.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Tinley Park Bobcats are a 100% volunteer ran organization and we rely on volunteer to help ensure we deliver a fun and successful season for our players. If you are interested in volunteering for the upcoming season, please let us know during the registration process.

HEAD COACH

Head Coaches will be responsible for drafting their team and will serve as the main point of contact for players and parents. Coaches will sign up for their practice time from available times and locations. The number of Head Coaches is determined by the number of teams for each season. Commissioners determine Head Coaches.

ASSISTANT COACHES

Assistant Coaches will be responsible for aiding Head Coaches throughout the season. The number of Assistant Coaches is determined by the number of teams each season. Commissioners and Head Coaches work together to select Assistant Coaches.

TEAM PARENT

A Team Parent will be assigned to each team. The Team Parent will be responsible for delivering picture forms and uniforms and preparing a snack schedule for their team.

Criminal Background Checks are required for all volunteer opportunities.

Registration Listing

Fall Softball 2025

• Cost $65 (6U), $130 (8U through 15U)

• 6U (Ages 4-6), 8U (Ages 7-8), 10U (ages 9-10), 12U (ages 11-12), 14U (ages 13-14) and 16U (ages 15-16) - playing what you played this past Spring

• Practices will start the first week of August and games start before Labor Day weekend

• 2 games a week (1 during the week and 1 on weekend)

• We will be playing other local organizations

• Uniform will consist of a t-shirt, hat and socks. Use own in-house pants and belt (from the spring) or purchase new pants and belt

Fundraiser Mandatory Participation:

I understand and agree that in registering my child(ren) in the Tinley Park Bobcats programs, I will pay $80.00 at the time of registration and, in doing so; will be assigned 40 $2-tickets and may opt to either sell them to recoup my $80, or I may keep my unsold tickets and participate in the raffle.

The Tinley Park Bobcats is looking for interested coaches for the Fall 2025 season. Our organization is run by 100% volunteers, and coaches are the most important component in the success of our program, it is a rewarding opportunity that makes a positive impact in the lives of the children in our community.

Our league relies on devoted adult volunteers to help ensure that the organization remains structured and runs smoothly. We are always looking for responsible and enthusiastic adults to lead our teams. As a volunteer coach, you should have an interest in the safety, well-being, and overall development of children.
